Kingerlee Joinery supplied and installed the following fully finished European Oak bespoke joinery complete with glass and ironmongery at Windmill Hill, Waddesdon Manor: - Large section of library/reading room book shelves comprising five bays spanning the entire length of the room. - 3 no pairs of large framed, ledged and braced door sets between bays in the reading room. - Plant room/ seminar room external doors and windows to existing building. - Oak clad, steel framed entrance gates to the complex. CAD drawings for client/architect approval were produced from design intent information and site surveys by joinery division.
A £200k joinery package for refurbishment of a private house in Oxfordshire. A wide range of joinery ranging from library oak bookcases to inverted stairs, new bespoke windows and doors, walnut kitchen and a large number of oak French doors.
Kingerlee Joinery supplied many bespoke items for this project including: - Sliding and folding door screens shown left. - Staircases with steel antislip bars. - Reception back counter units in glass with full finish, fire screens included. - Large birch ply cupboards for dramas and art rooms. - Doors and arched fanlight. CAD drawings for client/architect approval were produced from design intent information and site surveys by joinery division.
The project included a bespoke library complete with full height book cases and student desks in European oak complete with stainless steel. Bookcases had adjustable shelving and incorporated lighting. The Porter's Lodge area consisted of floor to ceiling coverage purpose made joinery in European Oak with corian. We supplied and installed all Porter's Lodge joinery. The cafe art plinth was also supplied and installed, this consists of a steel substructure clad in vented oak grilles to support the art works above.
A £750k package that consisted of wardrobes, shelving units, mobile desks, beds and credenzas all finished in oak and veneers. The items were all stored at our own facilities, a full size mock up/prototype was also created to help with design. This is still in existence at our Kidlington workshop. 76 bedrooms were created in total, 56 of those were standard the rest consisted of several variations.

The project involved the supply of high quality bespoke joinery for new bedroom accommodation at the historic Coombe Abbey Hotel and Country Many of the details of the joinery were required to match the existing historic details of the main house, drawn in the 1st instance on auto-CAD with Some of the principle joinery items in the £150k contract were: Hardwood windows and doors in stained finish, many arched and Profiled internal doors and frames, shaped to create arches and clover Profiled and shaped radiator
Private House Barn Conversion, Hook Norton, Oxfordshire Existing derelict listed barns in the grounds of Heydon House, Hook Norton, were converted to highly specified dwelling and office space for a private client. Open riser oak staircase co-designed by Kingerlee Joinery and the client to produce contemporary detailing as well as a traditional feel. Douglas fir windows and boarded doors were purpose measured and made to fit unusual existing openings, many windows styled to produce Oak external and internal screens. Ethically sourced (FSC) timber used throughout.
Swimming Pool and Leisure Building, Private Client, Wiltshire New swimming pool and leisure building constructed in the existing walled garden of a listed house and grounds in Wiltshire. The main joinery elements were: Douglas fir internal glazed screens with angled tops. Maple changing room seating with lifting tops for storage and ventilation grilles. European oak louvre doors and frames. Maple vanity furniture to client specification.
Private House, Bath New 9 million pound private dwelling constructed in Georgian style perched on a hill overlooking the valleys to Bath, with landscaped gardens and infinity pool. The principle joinery items were: 64no large hardwood sash and casement windows supplied and installed by Kingerlee Joinery complete with specialist Slimlite glass units and all ironmongery and finishes. Complete external door set package in hardwood and oak complete with Slimlite glass and finishes. Many of the items were arched and shaped. Internal hardwood panelled door set package with glass as well as cupboards to many rooms. Stair panelling in oak and hardwood.
