Not only do we have to contend with the normal day to day challenges of construction, on our site in Ascot today we had to deal with this little fella too! Before you panic though, be assured it’s a corn snake, a harmless type of snake that is often kept as a pet. The school runs a Herpetology Club that has at least ten of these adult snakes already. In fact they had a large batch of eggs hatch last week, so also have baby snakes as well. Visit the school website for more information: http://www.papplewick.org.uk/index.html

It is believed that this particular snake is the offspring of a couple of corn snakes that were released approx. 8 years ago which apparently thrived in the school grounds!! Our Site Manager Neville Jones handed it over to the school and it has been added to their collection!
