Private House, Oxfordshire

The alterations and refurbishment of a grade II listed Manor House in Oxfordshire, along with extensive modifications to the existing outbuildings.

The main house underwent a total internal transformation and modernisation with a complete interior change to provide a more contemporary living space. The external facade of the building received new external render to the annex and the existing windows were refurbished, and custom made window installed to match. The roof was removed and replaced with a new roof covering. The existing floors were excavated to install new under floor heating and re-laid with limestone flooring
Bespoke joinery is a large feature of the building with new installed shelving units, cupboards, kitchen along with new internal doors throughout. A new library with new oak shelving to all walls was also created.
The courtyard to the front of the property was given a new resin bound gravel oval drive with new laid lawns. York stone paving was laid to the rear of the property to form patio areas. All the existing outbuildings were refurbished and modified to provide, extra accommodation, storage and car parking.
