Grand Designs House of the Year 2019 Finalist.

This domestic dwelling for a private client in Northamptonshire comprises a new farmhouse, farm managers accommodation and a stable block.

The main farmhouse is a three-storey building comprising of five en-suite bedrooms, family/dining rooms, kitchen, games room and swimming pool. 

The structure incorporates cross-laminated timber [CLT] technology and exposed glulam beams. External cladding includes Cotswold stone and oak timber boarding inset with large areas of minimal glazed section windows with a Cotswold tiled roof.

The interior finishes utilise stone and timber flooring which are complemented by the high-quality oak joinery.
